The Lion Safari Park is situated in the Gauteng Province and within easy reach of Pretoria and Johannesburg. The park offers terrific close-up views and exciting interactions with a large variety of predators and large herbivores indigenous to Africa. It is home to over 80 lions, including the rare white lion. You will also see cheetah, wild dog, brown hyena, striped hyena, spotted hyena, black-backed jackal, side-striped jackal, and a wide variety of antelope which roam freely in the antelope area.
Going on a tour through this park, you will also get the unique chance to interact with some of these animals. In the Cub World section you can play with actual lion cubs and have the opportunity to have your photo taken with them. Another exceptional feature is the giraffe feeding platform which allows you to touch and feed the giraffe at eye level, providing guests with a truly magnificent experience.
